ANTIQUE – Hospitals here received equipment and ambulances from the provincial government.
Gov. Rhodora Cadiao led the turnover to the provincial government’s health office and three district hospitals last week.
Cadiao first turned over 116 hospital beds worth P9.5 million and two ambulances to the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital (ASMGH).
Three ambulances were also turned over to the Ramon Maza Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Sibalom, the Pedro L. Gindap District Hospital in Barbaza, and the President Diosdado Macapagal District Hospital in Tobias Fornier.
Cadiao said the donation of the hospital equipment and vehicles is part of the provincial government’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services to Antiqueños.
“This is why we are continuously investing in our health facilities and equipment,” she stressed.
The governor also disclosed that the provincial government is planning to expand the ASMGH to accommodate more patients.
“We want to make sure that our people have access to quality healthcare services, regardless of their financial status,” said Cadiao.
Dr. Ric Noel Naciongayo, Provincial Health Officer II, thanked the governor for the hospital equipment and vehicles.
