LPG prices go up big-time

PRICES of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased again.

Petron Corp. implemented a P3.75 per kilogram hike in the price of its household LPG effective 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1.

The adjustment could translate to a P41.25 increase in the price of a typical 11-kilogram LPG tank.

The company also increased its AutoLPG prices by P2.09 per liter at the same time.

“These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of October,” Petron said.

Solane, likewise, announced a P3.73 per kilo, value added tax (VAT) inclusive increase in their LPG prices effective 6 a.m. yesterday. (GMA Integrated News)
