CAPIZ – A 63-year-old former seafarer was found in an advanced state of decomposition outside his house in Barangay San Miguel Ilawod, Tapaz.
According to the Tapaz Municipal Police Station, a neighbor who was supposed to visit the senior citizen made the grim discovery at approximately 9 a.m. on Dec. 21.
He was last seen alive on Dec. 19, repairing the gate of his house.
His wife said he had an underlying heart disease.
The senior citizen’s remains are currently at a local funeral home and will be subjected to a postmortem examination./PN
