ILOILO – A man suffered wounds and scars on different parts of his body when his motorcycle fell into an excavation of an ongoing road repair in Barangay Aldeguer, Sara, Iloilo, at approximately 6:25 p.m. on Saturday, March 23.
According to Staff Sergeant Rio J. Bañares, investigator of Sara Police Station, the man, whose name was withheld, was under the influence of alcohol while driving the motorcycle going home from a feast in San Dionisio town.
The excavated soil was estimated to be one meter deep.
The town police also found out that the victim was not wearing a helmet, had no driver’s license, and that the motorcycle had no lights when the incident transpired.
The victim is now in stable condition./PN
