CAPIZ – A 41-year-old man facing qualified rape and sexual assault charges was arrested in Barangay Vizcaya, President Roxas town.
Alias “Ralan,” a resident of Barangay San Blas, Pilar town, was tagged as the No. 10 most wanted person in Western Visayas.
Officers of the Pilar Municipal Police Station (MPS) carried out the arrest around 7:56 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, through an arrest warrant.
Hon. Eric Anthony A. Dumpilo, acting presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court, 6th Judicial Region, Branch 14 in Roxas City, issued and signed the arrest warrant, dated April 29, 2024, for two counts of sexual assault and four counts of qualified rape by carnal knowledge.
The suspect was detained at the Pilar MPS.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
