CAPIZ – The Capiz Maritime Police Station has a new chief in the person of Police Major Wilmar Bolivar.
He replaced Police Lieutenant Semdan Sitchon, who was reassigned to the Aklan maritime police.
Bolivar previously served as the chief of the Iloilo Maritime Police Station.
During his courtesy visit to the office of Roxas City’s Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, Bolivar vowed to enforce maritime laws effectively and oversee various operations within the city’s waters and other areas under their jurisdiction.
He added that the leadership transition aims to strengthen maritime security and ensure the effective implementation of laws in Capiz’s coastal areas./PN
