CAPIZ – Police apprehended a suspected drug peddler in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Taslan, Tapaz town in this province early yesterday morning, September 30.
The 39-year-old alias “Bong”, a resident of the said village, was caught by officers of the Tapaz Municipal Police Station’s (MPS) Drug Enforcement Team after he handed a plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer.
Police seized two heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu valued at approximately P136,000, buy-bust money, P1,000 in cash, and a black leather coin purse.
The suspect was detained at the custodial facility of Tapaz MPS. He will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Acts of 2002./PN
