ANTIQUE— Two men got stabbed by unidentified suspects at a bar in District II, Sibalom town at around 2:25 a.m. yesterday, October 7.
Police identified the victims as Redgie Francisco, 40, and Russel Mark Falsis, 24, both unemployed and residents of the town’s District III.
Reports indicate that the suspects were drinking at the bar when the victims arrived. A heated argument ensued, leading to the stabbing.
Staff Sergeant Dan Lagardo, investigator in charge at the Sibalom Municipal Police Station (MPS), said the victims sustained injuries to the chest and other parts of their bodies.
They were rushed to Ramon Maza Sr. Memorial District Hospital for medical treatment.
The suspects meanwhile fled in an unknown direction after the incident.
Sibalom MPS was still investigating the incident to identify and apprehend the suspects, who may face charges of frustrated homicide./PN
