
ILOILO City – Operatives of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) confiscated nearly P1.2 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested four individuals in two separate operations on Saturday, November 16.
The Pototan Municipal Police Station arrested two suspects identified as alias “Naldo,” 48, and his 20-year-old son, alias “JR,” in the town’s Barangay Palanguia around 6:20 p.m. Authorities seized approximately 100 grams of suspected shabu valued at around P680,000.

Police also recovered a caliber .45 pistol from Naldo.
In Barangay Poblacion South, Oton town, officers of the Oton Municipal Police Station apprehended two women – 40-year-old alias “Cutie,” tagged as a high-value target, and alias “Ice,” 37. Recovered from their possession were around 72 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P489,600.
All four suspects were detained. They are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Acts of 2002.
Following the successful operations, IPPO director Colonel Bayani Razalan warned drug personalities anew of the serious consequences should they pursue their illegal activities.
“Now is the time to think about your family, your future, and yourself. If you don’t, you may find yourself behind bars,” Razalan said./PN
