
LEE MIN-HO and Gong Hyo-jin headline the powerhouse cast of the South Korean series “When The Stars Gossip,” which will stream on Netflix beginning January 2025, the streamer said on Wednesday, November20.
On its X account, Netflix K-Content unveiled images from the sci-fi romance series, which revolves around an OB-GYN-turned-space tourist (played by Min-ho) and space mission commander (Hyo-jin).
Min-ho’s character, Gong Ryong, is the future son-in-law of the MZ Group, the richest conglomerate in Korea. Heading to space with a secret mission that he cannot tell anyone, he raises questions about his secret goal.
Hyo Jin meanwhile will take on the role of Commander Eve Kim, who heads to the space station after receiving her first mission as a commander. Eve Kim is a perfectionist who cannot allow a single mistake as she strictly adheres to the rules in the dangerous space, making viewers curious whether top space scientist Eve Kim will complete her mission successfully.
The post also featured images of the other cast members, including Oh Jung-se (“It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” and “Mr. Plankton”), Han Ji-eun (“Be Melodramatic” and “Lovestruck In The City”), Kim Joo-hun (“Castaway Diva”), Lee El (“My Liberation Notes”), Lee Cho-hee (“Once Again”), and Heo Nam-jun (“Sweet Home” and “Your Honor”).
The star-studded ensemble raises anticipation for the lively chemistry between the cast members.
