ILOILO City – A grandfather and his minor grandchild were injured in a road mishap involving three vehicles in Barangay East Baluarte, Molo district yesterday morning, December 9.
In a report of a local radio station, alias “Tonio” was driving a tricycle to take his grandchild to Baluarte Elementary School when they were accidentally sideswiped by a car.
Tonio lost control of the tricycle and it went wayward. It was consequently hit by a rolling cart selling pandesal trailing behind.
Police said the tricycle driver suffered wounds on his feet while his grandchild sustained minor injury.
As of this writing, Molo police were still investigating the incident./PN
