MNILA – President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. will be discussing “legacy projects” during his scheduled full Cabinet meeting on January 7.
According to Presidential Communications Office (PCO) acting Secretary Cesar Chavez, the agenda of the meeting include big-ticket programs and Official Development Assistance (ODA)-funded projects.
The Chief Executive met with Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on Thursday to “compare some notes” and talk about the agenda for the Cabinet meeting.
Chavez also said President Marcos held two full Cabinet meetings, two special Cabinet meetings, and 49 sectoral Cabinet meetings in 2024.
President Marcos holds weekly meetings with members of the Cabinet, most of them involving specific clusters, while he also meets frequently with the Private Sector Advisory Council, which presents recommendations on various policies related to the economy.
Meanwhile, the PCO official also said the annual Vin D’ Honneur in Malacañang will take place on January 11.
Vin d’honneur or “wine of honor” is an official reception hosted by the President at Malacañang and attended by the diplomatic corps, government officials, lawmakers, members of the judiciary and the business sector./PN
