BACOLOD City – An alleged carnapper landed in jail after bystanders chased and caught him in Bangga Cory, Barangay Taculing here over the weekend.
The 24-year-old alias “Uno”, a resident of the city’s Barangay Punta Taytay was caught in the act by the owner stealing a motorcycle from the latter’s house at around 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 25.
Police said the motorcycle owner immediately sought help and the alert bystanders later caught the suspect but he resisted causing a commotion which resulted to his injuries.
The suspect was detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 6 for proper disposition./PN
