ANGEL Locsin’s recent story on her Instagram showing support for her stepson Joaquin Arce sparked excitement among fans.

She said she is excited to work with Joaquin. So, are we going to see an Angel Locsin comeback very soon?

ABS-CBN caught up with Neil Arce, Angel’s husband, during Joaquin’s contract signing with Star Magic.

“I haven’t asked her,” Neil said. “I never ask her when she wants to come back.”

When asked why, he replied: “‘Cause I know that she is a strong independent woman, I married an alpha queen, and I respect that. Kung ano ang gusto niyang gawin, as long as nasa tama, she has my support.”

Neil confirmed that Locsin is enjoying her time being a gamer.

“I think everyone knows that she’s into gaming. She’s taking online classes, and she’s enjoying herself. And we all know her dad just passed away. She’s taking her time. I’m giving her own space to adjust to everything that has happened,” he said.

When asked Neil for more details about the online classes, Neil said, “Sorry pero hindi ko rin maintindihan kasi it’s about gaming. Hindi ako gamer.”

But she has his 100% support on this endeavor.

Basta happy siya. I always ask her, ‘are you happy?’ And alam ko naman kung totoo o hindi, and sabi niya happy naman siya.”

Neil understands the excitement of Locsin’s fans, eagerly awaiting her comeback. And he shares the same anticipation.

“I’m her husband, lover, everything and I’m also a fan. Deep inside, of course, I miss her on the screen. Pero nangunguna ‘yung pagka-husband eh, kung saan ka masaya,” he said.

Last month, Angel, who has been on a social media hiatus since 2022, announced Joaquin’s foray into show business by sharing a clip from the talent management agency.

“Me, your mom and your dad are very proud of you. Can’t wait to work with you,” Angel addressed the young celebrity.

Earlier this year, the actress also returned to social media after she lost her X (formerly Twitter) account to hackers. (ABS-CBN News)
