Actress and vlogger Alex Gonzaga and her husband, Lipa City Vice Mayor Mikee Morada, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, after years of experiencing pregnancy losses.
Gonzaga’s mother, Mommy Pinty, confirmed the birth in a text message to PEP.ph, which reported the news on Thursday, August 27. The family has yet to disclose the baby’s name, birth date or other details.
Speculation that Gonzaga had already given birth surfaced after she posted a series of maternity photos on Instagram on August 25.
In the post, Gonzaga wrote, “I’ll miss carrying you inside my tummy, my baby. It was like having our own little world,” accompanied by crying-face and heart emojis.
The arrival of their son marks a significant milestone for Gonzaga and Morada, who had previously endured three miscarriages.
Gonzaga experienced her first pregnancy loss in 2021, followed by another in 2023 and a third in 2024.
In May 2026, Gonzaga announced that she was expecting her first child with Morada after conceiving naturally.
The couple married in November 2020 at the Gonzaga family home in Taytay, Rizal.
