BACOLOD City – This city’s anti-drug operatives confiscated around P1.632 million worth of shabu from five suspects in two separate buy-bust operations.
According to the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), two suspects were arrested in Purok Lilang, Barangay Banago by the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) at 2:50 a.m. on Tuesday, September 16.
Aliases “Teodolo,” 18, and “Veronica”, 26, yielded 13 sachets of shabu weighing 100 grams and with a standard drug price of P680,000.
The BCPO said the CDEU received information from a confidential informant and from concerned citizens that Teodolo was actively involved in the sale of suspected shabu in the area.
Prior to this, on September 14, police collared three persons during an operation in Purok Bolinao, Barangay 1.
The suspect identified as aliases “Koykoy,” 28, “Mark,” 23, and “James,” 18, all residents of the said place, yielded 140 grams of shabu approximately valued at P952,000.
The suspects were detained for proper disposition./PN
