ILOILO City — In its commitment to fulfill its mandate of giving quality service to its consumers, MORE Electric and Power Corporation (MORE Power) launched its first Transformer Awareness Campaign, rallying large commercial, industrial, and government accounts for a pilot run focused on transformer maintenance.

The initiative, led by the Key Accounts Group of the Customer Care Department, aims to empower customers with practical knowledge to care for high-voltage transformers and keep outages at bay.

Transformer health within customer premises can impact the whole distribution system. When high-voltage assets aren’t properly maintained, outages ripple beyond a single site, affecting nearby consumers and operations.

This program sets safety standards, enhances reliability, and highlights the value of MORE Power’s proactive customer engagement and extended technical services.

The pilot covers best practices in safe handling, routine maintenance checks, and early warning signs of transformer issues. It’s part of MORE Power’s broader effort to reduce unscheduled interruptions and strengthen grid reliability through collaboration with our top accounts./PN
