MANILA – Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio registered a “moderate” net satisfaction rating of +28 in late November 2025, with gains in the Visayas and among young Filipinos boosting her overall standing, according to a non-commissioned survey released by Social Weather Stations (SWS).
The survey found that 54 percent of respondents were satisfied with Duterte-Carpio’s performance, while 26 percent were dissatisfied, resulting in a net satisfaction rating of +28, which SWS classified as “moderate.”
Her November 2025 score marked a six-point increase from her +22 net satisfaction rating in September 2025. The latest poll was conducted around four months after the Supreme Court blocked impeachment complaints against the vice president.
Regional Breakdown
SWS reported that Duterte-Carpio’s net satisfaction rating improved in the Visayas and Balance Luzon.
She earned a “good” +41 in the Visayas and a “neutral” +9 in Balance Luzon. In Metro Manila, her rating stood at a neutral net zero, while Mindanao delivered her highest score at an “excellent” +70.
Compared to September 2025, Duterte’s rating rose by 10 points in Balance Luzon and by nine points in the Visayas. It slipped by three points in Metro Manila and was largely unchanged in Mindanao.
Urban, Rural, and Age Groups
The pollster added that her net satisfaction rating in urban areas increased by 11 points to +21, remaining in the “moderate” range, while her rural rating climbed three points to a “good” +35.
By age group, Duterte-Carpio’s rating among 18- to 24-year-olds jumped by 32 points from +17 to a “good” +49. Her score among those aged 45 to 54 rose by 10 points to +29, while it fell by six points to +46 among respondents aged 25 to 34.
Other Top Officials
The same survey showed that 46 percent of Filipinos were satisfied and 30 percent dissatisfied with Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III received 33 percent satisfaction and 28 percent dissatisfaction ratings, while Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo posted 36 percent satisfaction and 27 percent dissatisfaction.
The SWS survey was conducted from Nov. 24 to 30, 2025, through face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adults nationwide. It has a margin of error of ±3 percent for national results and ±6 percent for area results in Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao./PN
