TRAVEL fairs are yearly events for some of the country’s progressive cities like Manila, Cebu, Davao, and Bacolod among others.

This year, the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 6 headed by Atty. Helen Catalbas and The iEvents Philippines managed by Christian Cesar Garrido is organizing a travel fair in the City of Love, Iloilo City. This marks the start of the 1st Tourism and Events Congress (iTEC).
One of thrusts of iTEC is the 1st Western Visayas International Travel Fair (WViTF), a three-day travel show that will gather players in the tourism industry not just from Western Visayas but also from other parts of the Philippines and other countries.
WViTF event would usher new and existing companies. Key players and the buying public will learn new trends in the tourism industry. The fair will also showcase some attractions to increase crowd traffic that could ideally be potential buyers as well.
