SAN JOSE, Antique – Elementary-level finalists in the Search for the Ten Outstanding Pupils and Students (TOPS) of Antique have been named.
TOPS-Antique gives recognition to pupils and students who, with their distinguished and exemplary achievements, serve as models and sources of pride and inspiration for the Antiqueño youth.
The 20 elementary finalists will undergo a final interview on Dec. 19.
They include Hannah Lea Joy Aguisanda of Sta. Justa Elementary School (ES), Tibiao; Quennie Anne Alcantara and Hans Lougene Caniezo of Antique Integrated School, Domie John Flores and Gylle Jethrese Villavert of Assemblyman Segundo Moscoso Memorial School, Johanna Paige Esmeralda and Keann Arvyxz Garcesa of Delegate Angel Salazar Jr. Memorial School, Mariela Lessandra Deslate and Rommel Dave Saracanlao of St. Anthony’s College Grade School, all from San Jose;
Larah Jovea Alocilja of Culasi Central ES, Culasi; Loryddy Amor Canas and Klimssy Irish Asenci of Anini-y Central School, Anini-y; Czarina Alexandra dela Llave and Tishri Mae Nicole Jacobe of Sibalom Central ES, Sibalom; Stephanie Claire Delfin of Valderrama ES, Valderrama; Ayeshka Kenszie Galarpe of Saint Joseph Academy and Mary Kristine Laude of Bugasong Central School, Bugasong; Feyne Valerie Macantan and Qin Alfred Christian Questorio of Belison Central School, Belison; and Chris Armand Santiana of M. Buyco ES, Hamtic.
Provincial Board member Egidio Elio, chairman emeritus of TOPS-Antique, Inc., said the search is “a commitment to lead our people in the pursuit of the common good and serve them well with dignity and honor.”
It “sprouted from a dream and the principle anchored on passion for excellence,” and aims to inspire the younger generations who deserve recognition for their distinguished achievements, Elio said.
Organizers have yet to announce the secondary-level finalists and decide on the date and venue of the awarding ceremony. (PNA)
