ILOILO – A house helper of San Dionisio, Iloilo’s Mayor Larry Villanueva was found dead in the town executive’s residence yesterday in Barangay Cudionan.
It was Villanueva himself who reported to the police Jovany Cayetano’s death.
The 31-year-old Cayetano, a resident of Barangay Bagacay, San Dionisio, had been working at the Villanueva household for quite some time. He was discovered dead in his quarters around 7:30 a.m.
The helper’s cause of death was still to be ascertained as of this writing. Police investigators did not find any mark on the body to indicate a foul play.
According to Cayetano’s family, the helper sustained a head injury in a previous vehicular accident.
Cayetano was also suffering from hypertension, they added.
