BACOLOD City – A 24-year-old call center agent was robbed yesterday in Barangay 3, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
Nocel Escobilla was walking on Burgos Street when an unidentified suspect struck her head with a rock and grabbed her bag.
Contained in the bag were a wallet with P2,500 cash, ATM and identification cards, a cell phone, a jacket, and shirts.
Her family brought Escobilla to the Don Salvador Benedicto Memorial Hospital, also in La Carlota, for the treatment of her head injury.
The suspect fled, police said./PN
