ILOILO City – A laborer charged with possession of deadly weapon was arrested in Barangay Mianay, Ivisan, Capiz.
Judge Ramces John Honrado of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court issued an arrest warrant against 43-year-old Rene Bermejo, 43.
Cops served the arrest warrant to the suspect around 3 p.m. on Feb. 10.
From his house, Bermejo was taken to the Ivisan police station.
As of this writing, it was unclear if the suspect was able to post bail that the court set at P5,000 for his temporary liberty./PN
