BACOLOD City – A 24-year-old security guard was found dead in the guardhouse of a warehouse in Sibulan, Negros Oriental.
Dhyron Benedicto of Barangay Tabu-an, Bayawan City, Negros Oriental allegedly committed suicide by hanging.
He was found around 6:30 a.m. Monday. He was taken to the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital in Dumaguete City but was declared “dead on arrival.”
His girlfriend left Benedicto for another man, police investigation showed.
Benedicto used a cable cord to hang himself. Police also found a “suicide note” in his mobile phone./PN
