ILOILO City – Policemen arrested a former seaman in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Pedro, Molo district.
The suspect, 32-year-old Michael Ampunan, was a resident of Barangay Airport, Mandurriao district. He was caught beside Molo Church around 10:30 p.m. on Friday.
Ampunan sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth P500 to a police asset.
Seven more sachets of suspected shabu were seized from the suspect.
Ampunan was detained at the Molo police station.
