
AC BONIFACIO has been confirmed to join the cast of the upcoming film “Perfect Girl,” which also stars “KPop Demon Hunters” stars Arden Cho and May Hong, as well as Nancy McDonie of Momoland.
Bonifacio’s casting was confirmed in a Deadline report on Oct. 31, with the film confirmed to be a “Scream meets Black Swan” kind of thriller.
Also part of the cast are K-pop idols Siyoon (Billlie) and Chaerin (Cherry Bullet), as well as solo artist Jeon Somi, Peter Lee Jae Yoon, Samantha Cochran, Ally, Adeline Rudolph, and John Kim.
The film revolves around a K-pop “super group” preparing for their debut when they encounter a mysterious new girl.
It will feature six original songs from Korean music label The Black Label, home of Jeon. It was also the agency who co-produced the soundtrack of “KPop Demon Hunters.”
“Perfect Girl” is directed by Hong Won-ki, although its release date has yet to be announced.
Bonifacio is best known for her eye-catching performances on the “ASAP” dance floor, various shows, and her social media platforms. She started her entertainment career as the winner of “Dance Kids” with co-duo Lucky Ancheta in 2016.
She also appeared in an episode of “Riverdale” in 2021, and is part of the cast of “Roja,” “High Street,” “Shake, Rattle & Roll Extreme,” and “Lolong.” She was also a housemate of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.” (Hannah Mallorca © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
