BACOLOD City – Active cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Negros Occidental now stand at 418, the Provincial Incident Management Team (PIMT) revealed over the weekend.
As of April 3, the province had a total of 7,556 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 6,911 recoveries and 227 deaths.
San Carlos City was the local government unit in the province with the most number of active cases at 78; Cadiz City had 56; La Carlota City, 43; Silay City, 28; and Bago City with 24.
Despite the sharp surge in coronavirus cases, the towns of Candoni, Don Salvador Benedicto, Hinoba-an, La Castellana, Manapla, and Moises Padilla remained COVID-free./PN
