ILOILO City – A man was arrested for an illegal gambling charge in Barangay San Antonio, Ajuy, Iloilo.
He was identified as 38-year-old resident Noli Villarin, a police report showed.
Villarin was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant around 9 a.m. on July 1 after he failed to attend a court hearing, the report added.
He was detained in the custodial facility of the Ajuy police station, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602, or the anti-illegal gambling law./PN
