ALDEN Richards and Kathryn Bernardo were hailed as 2024 Box Office King and Queen by the Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines (CEAP) for their movie “Hello, Love, Again.”
As seen in photos uploaded by GMA Pictures and Star Cinema in a joint Instagram post, Alden was present and received the award in a stylish textured blazer and black trousers.
The movie was also recognized by the CEAP for its historic success as the top-grossing Filipino movie of all time.
“Hello, Love, Again” is a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster film “Hello, Love, Goodbye.” It is set in Canada five years after the main characters, Joy and Ethan, parted ways in Hong Kong.
The 2024 film is also the first Filipino film to gross over a billion pesos at the box office.
Meanwhile, Alden is set to host the upcoming Kapuso dance competition “Stars on the Floor,” which will premiere on GMA Network in June.
Currently, Kathryn is one of the judges of “Pilipinas Got Talent” season 7.
She earlier underscored that serving as one of the judges of the reality competition is a good “interlude” for her.
“It’s something that I want to experience because it’s another first for me. I think it’s a good breaker after doing ‘Hello Love Again’ and before I start a new project,” she said in an interview with TV Patrol. (GMA Integrated News)
