ALKRIS fans can finally rejoice, as the long-awaited reunion of Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal happened backstage of “TiktoClock,” with the actress teasing her former leading man for not responding to her messages.
Abrenica and Bernal’s reunion was captured by GMA on the sidelines of the game show on its Instagram page on Wednesday, January 14. The “Last Prince” star appeared to have dropped by on the set of “TiktoClock,” where he interacted with his fellow onscreen partner.
“Wow! Bakit hindi ka nagre-reply sa’kin? Sumagot ka (Why are you not replying to my messages)?” she asked the actor, which led to the latter saying that he tried to get hold of her as well.
In a recent ambush interview, the “House of Lies” star revealed that her former love team partner hasn’t been responding to her messages, saying that it might have something to do with a prank she pulled on him back then.
The video also showed Bernal seemingly congratulating Abrenica for going public with his family life with AJ Raval.
“Na-miss kita (I missed you). I’m happy for you, and congrats sa life,” she said.
“OMG #AlKris Reunited?! Hindi naman halata na na-miss nina Aljur Abrenica at Kris Bernal ang isa’t isa, no (It’s not obvious that Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal have missed each other),” the post read.
Both “Starstruck” alums, Abrenica and Bernal were in a popular love team in the 2000s and 2010s, until they decided to pursue their solo careers. Both are currently in committed relationships — with Abrenica dating Raval, and Bernal married to her non-showbiz partner.
