ILOILO City – Two women yelling at each other in Barangay Tanza-Esperanza, City Proper have been arrested.
Ricarda Sapalo and Xylena Joy Escamillan, both 30 years old, “created alarm and scandal,” a police report showed.
They were hauled to the custodial facility of Police Station 1.
Sapalo and Escamillan disturbed the neighborhood when they shouted at each other at the top of their voice at around 10 a.m. on May 26, stated the police report.
It was not immediately clear what their argument was about.
Learning about the fight from concerned residents, Barangay Captain Noel Odicta and village councilpersons Samuel Rubinas and Vivian Pabilona nabbed the two women and brought them to Police Station 1.
Escamillan tried to resist arrest by shoving the barangay officials and “shouting defamatory words,” police said. (April Grace R. Padilla, Intern/PN)
