“IT’S SHOWTIME” host Anne Curtis recently admitted that she wants to have an acting comeback soon.

In a recent interaction with a fan on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), the actress shared how it was time for her to act again.

“Time for an acting comeback na. Soon!!!” she declared.

Fans brought up several roles that Anne did in the past, which included Imang from “Kampanerang Kuba,” Stephanie Borromeo in “Hiram,” Josephine in “Dyosa,” and one of her favorite roles, Celine Magsaysay from “Maging Sino Ka Man.”

The hit primetime series wherein she starred in began airing in 2006 – making it 17 years already since it debuted in Philippine television.

It revolves around the story of four main characters who try to find love and purpose in their lives.

Anne played the role of Celine, who has a strong image on the outside but has a heart of gold.

She expressed on X her surprise at how time passed by.

“17 years ago?! Hala! The youth of today and most of the bagets and social media are like WHAT IS THIS? Celine Magsaysay will forever be one of my Top fave TV series characters!” she shared.

Anne reposted another tweet from a fan who compiled some of her iconic lines in the show, which got her feeling a little bit emotional after watching it.

“Gonna make me cry [three crying emojis]” she wrote.

Meanwhile, fans added how it has been years since the TV series aired, but noted nothing still beats her iconic lines.

Some even commented how Anne’s appearance 17 years ago still looked the same as today – as if nothing has changed.

“It’s hard to believe it’s been 17 years since Celine Magsaysay graced our screens! Time flies, but her character’s impact endures,” a fan wrote.

Grabe ka Aning, 17 years na, pero walang pinagbago! How to be u po?” another fan said.

Anne’s last acting stint was back in 2018 with “The Mall, The Merrier” for film and “Maalala Mo Kaya” for television.

She remains active on social media and is a mainstay host for the noontime show “It’s Showtime.” (PUSH)
