ANTIQUE — The Province of Antique garnered multiple recognitions at the Regional Agri-Aqua Trade Fair and Exhibits: ASPIRE 2026 (Agribusiness Support for Promotion and Investment in Region Expo), held from April 8 to 13 at Laketown, Barangay Balabag, Malay, Aklan.

Antique clinched first place in the Best Booth Contest and first place in the Most Promising Product Contest, along with a consolation prize in the Trendiest and Innovative Product Contest.

The annual ASPIRE expo brings together top agri-aqua products and entrepreneurs from across Western Visayas, including Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, and Iloilo. The event is being held in Boracay, one of the country’s premier tourism destinations, providing a strategic platform for local producers to showcase their goods to a wider market.

The province’s strong performance highlights its growing competitiveness in the agri-aqua sector, as well as the creativity and quality of its local products.

Officials said the recognition underscores Antique’s commitment to supporting local enterprises and promoting sustainable livelihood opportunities through innovation and market exposure./PN
