Pandananon Ms. Francesca Carmelita Sanchez recently bagged the Franchisee of the Year Award from Bread & Butter Bakeshop (BB). Having operated her store BB Pandan for more than 10 years, Sanchez has consistently delivered excellent sales and met operations targets in the CY 2018. Sanchez won a Trip to Hong Kong/Singapore. She was awarded last March 2, 2019 at the Ati-atihan Festival Hotel in Kalibo, Aklan where the nationally-recognized company is headquartered.
Runners up Dr. Carlan Elisterio of BB Sibalom, Anini-y and San Joaquin and Mr. George Bactol BB Tobias Fornier were also hailed as Top Achievers having delivered good performance in sales and operations targets respectively. Top Achievers won a free trip to Palawan.
Mr. Chrency Magallanes earned the Rookie of the Year for his outstanding performance in operating BB Banga in his less than two years of operations of the store. Magallanes shall be enjoying a free trip to Cebu.
In addition to top performing store management, Bread & Butter also recognized Franchisees who have greatly improved their management and performance throughout their operations in 2018. Mr. Christian Andaya (BB Mambusao), George Bactol (BB Tobias Fornier), Dr. Helarose Elisterio (BB Tibiao) and Roger Macabate (BB Lambunao) have all won a trip to Boracay.
BB Store Supervisors were also recognized for their exceptional performance in compliance and sales. The Store Silver Award was given to Mr. Arnel Nacnac (BB Shopping) and Ms. Marivie Fernandez Magno (BB Roxas Avenue). Also, Bronze awards was given to Ms. Cherry Custodio of BB Toting, BB Wet Market, BB Plaza; Mr. Jay Gumban of BB Victoria.
The awarding ceremony concluded following a Food Safety Seminar held by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) from the Province of Aklan. Bernadith Iremedio, Franchise Manager said that aside from the recognition, Bread & Butter is keen on improving the industry acumen of its Franchisees and is grateful to the support of the DOST Food Safety Technical Team, headed by Ms. Antonette Donato in improving its partners’ knowledge in food safety.
