ANTIQUE – The No. 6 most wanted person in this province was arrested in Payatas, Quezon City, on Monday.
After three years in hiding, alias “Dol Ami”, 45, of Barangay Poblacion, Patnongon, Antique, was served with arrest warrants for three counts of qualified rape.
Patnongon Municipal Police Station’s (MPS) officer-in-charge Police Lieutenant Berlyn Visda said they planned the arrest for over a week.
Dol Ami allegedly molested his 14- and 15-year-old children in 2019, according to the Antique Police Provincial Office (Antique PPO).
The victims’ teachers and grandmother reported the crime to the Patnongon MPS.
The accused is now in the custody of Station 13, Payatas Bagong Silangan Police Station for documentation before turnover to the court of origin.
The court recommended no bail for his temporary liberty./PN
