THREE-TIME WINNER. HALL OF FAME HONOREE. Iloilo City’s Mayor Raisa S. Treñas, joined by Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office head Velma Jane Lao, receives the 2026 Most Business-Friendly LGU Award and Hall of Fame distinction for Iloilo City during the 52nd Philippine Business Conference and Expo at The Manila Hotel on October 14. More than a recognition, this milestone celebrates the collective efforts of the city government, business community, investors, and Ilonggo entrepreneurs in building a business-friendly city. For Mayor Treñas, the mission continues: to help every business, big or small, grow and succeed — and ensure that economic progress creates more opportunities for every Ilonggo.
