BACOLOD City – Operatives of the Bacolod City Mobile Force Company arrested a 29-year-old man charged with molesting a seven-year-old boy twice back in 2020.
Valentine Diola was served with an arrest warrant (Criminal Case No. 21-53283) in Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2 at around 11:15 a.m. on July 19.
He was specifically accused of violating Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act).
Presiding Judge Maritess Gumahin of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 51 issued the arrest warrant on May 6, 2021.
Diola was taken to the Bacolod City Police Station 2.
The court recommended a P200,000 bail bond for Diola’s temporary liberty./PN
