BACOLOD City – The Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) approved on the third and final reading the city’s P3.25-billion budget for 2022.
This is 25 percent higher than this year’s P2.6 billion.
Members of the SP passed unanimously the appropriation ordinance for the 2022 annual budget during Wednesday’s regular session.
The annual budget is sourced out from the Internal Revenue Allotment from the national government amounting to P2,156,905,199 (66 percent of the 2022 budget), while the P1,093,094,801 from the local revenues.
