BAGO City, Negros Occidental – Police here arrested in Barangay Lag-asan on March 16 a man accused of rape.
Ryan Dingcong, 33, was a seafarer and resident of San Esteban Phase 2, Barangay Lag-asan. Police said he was the No. 3 most wanted person in this city.
Dingcong was one of the three suspects in an alleged rape at a bar in 2017.
The other two suspects reportedly secured a settlement with the complainant.
Just this Feb. 24, 2021 Presiding Judge Frances Guanzon of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 62 (Bago City) issued an arrest warrant against Dingcong.
The court recommended no bail for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
Dingcong was detained at the Bago City police station./PN
