Barbie Forteza still could not believe that she finally has the chance to work with Sharon Cuneta for their upcoming project, “Honor Thy Mother.”
According to Nelson Canlas’ report in “24 Oras” on Saturday, May 16, after meeting several times ahead of their taping, Barbie said she grew to further admire the Megastar because of her generosity and warmth.
“Hindi pa kami nakakapagsimula ng taping, sobrang generous niya as to sharing a lot of stories. Ang dami niyang sine-share sa akin. Ang dami kong natututunan sa kaniya so sobrang gaan na ng loob ko kay Miss Sharon,” Barbie said.
“I’m really really excited, and I’m looking forward to work with her very soon,” she added.
The Kapuso Primetime Princess previously said that working with Sharon is a “dream come true” because the veteran actress was one of her inspirations when she entered showbiz.
Meanwhile, Sharon shared in a previous interview that she is looking forward in working with Barbie in the collab project.
“I got excited. But first it was really the story that was presented to me and it was over Zoom. So meeting sila, they were all in the conference room and there was a presentation like slides in it. So I was impressed, I like the story. Tapos nalaman kong si Barbie [Forteza], what an opportunity!” she said.
Aside from Barbie and Sharon, the series will also star John Estrada, Tonton Gutierrez, RK Bagasting, Mercedes Cabral, Khalil Ramos, and many more.
