BACOLOD City – Female twins taking up the same course topped this year’s batch of graduates from the three campuses of the Bacolod City College, whose centralized 17th Commencement Exercises were held at the BAYS Center on Friday.

Angelou and Angelyn Belocura graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in office administration. Angelyn delivered the valedictory address on behalf of the 975 graduates from three campuses.

Only four from BCC Class 2017 graduated magna cum laude. The other two are Keith Anthony Tabligan, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management; and Jean Redondo, Bachelor of Science in Office Administration.

There were 42 cum laude graduates from Teacher Education, Business Administration and Office Administration.

City Administrator John Orola told the graduates that quality education is the “most important agenda” of the city government.

The BCC was established in 1997.

Angelyn Belocura thanked the city government for supporting the institution that gave her a chance to change her life.

The BCC did not only give her the means to change her life but also molded her into a person ready to face the challenge the world might throw at her, she said. (With Bacolod City PIO/PN
