BACOLOD City – “Be a pilot. Be an aircraft mechanic at Fast Academy,” Rey Sorgon, school administrator, told those interested in aviation.
Fast Academy is the newest aeronautics school here. It opens tomorrow at A.V. Pefianco Building, Lacson Street, Brgy. Mandalagan.
According to Sorgon, Fast Academy is opening for ground support personnel.
The “fast” in Fast Academy stands for Flight And Simulator Training.
Sorgon said they are also a licensed flying school operating in Subic, Lingayen and Manila.
Rolando Moscardon, chairman of the board of Fast Academy, decided to establish the school for ground support in Bacolod City because he is a Negrosanon.
Sorgon also noted the booming of the aviation industry and the increasing demand for pilots and aviation mechanics.
“There’s an added advantage for those who enroll at Fast Academy when they are having on-the-job training. We have a flying school at a much lesser expense compared to other aeronautics schools,” Sorgon said.
Fast Academy offers pilot training – private pilot, commercial pilot, instrument rating, multi-engine rating and flight instructor.
It also offers two-year aircraft maintenance technology and two-year aviation electronics technology.
