BEAUTY Gonzalez shared that her husband Norman Crisologo is very supportive when it comes to her showbiz career. She also relayed that Norman is a big fan of “Kadenang Ginto.”
“He is not the typical husband, ‘yung husband ko naman more on the liberated side na gusto niyang i-empower ‘yung lahat ng babae na parang hindi porket may anak ka na, may asawa ka na, hindi ka na pwede magka-love team. Sabi niya tignan mo nga ‘yung mga Hollywood actors and actresses, di ba?” she said.
The actress added that she shares the same view as her husband when it comes to empowering women. “Iyon ‘yung plataporma ko na gusto kong ipakita sa lahat ng mga aktor ng ABS-CBN na porket may asawa na kayo at may mga anak na kayo, huwag kayong magpabaya. Kayang-kaya pa natin mag-pakilig at mag-portray ng real family so that’s what I am pushing right now and that’s what my husband is pushing right now,” she stated.
“Kadenang Ginto” has been enjoying high ratings. When asked what she thinks is the secret behind the success of the series, Beauty replied, “For me what really makes a good teleserye are the writers behind it. They are the real Mondragons. So that’s what makes the thing works kasi magaling ‘yung writer, magaling ‘yung nag-isip ng Kadenang Ginto and the directors who are guiding us and you know thankful din kami sa directors namin because they give us the trust na pwede naming gawin. Nagsa-suggest kami ni Dimples kung ano ‘yung mga eksena namin and siguro we are both happy and contented with our lives that’s why kahit anong gagawin namin dalawa okay lang.” (Push)
