Bizman arrested for ‘lasciviousness’

ANTIQUE – This province’s eighth most wanted person was apprehended by operatives of the Sibalom Municipal Police Station on February 9, in Barangay District II, Sibalom town.

The 46-year-old businessman known by the alias “Jes,” married, and a resident of the town, was charged with acts of lasciviousness under Section 5(b), Article III of Republic Act No. 7610.

He was detained at Sibalom MPS. The Regional Trial Court, 6th Judicial Region, Branch 10 recommended a bail bond of P10,000 for his temporary freedom.

Western Visayas’ top cop, Police Brigadier General Josefino D. Ligan, said: “This arrest reflects our firm resolve to uphold the rule of law and keep our communities safe.”

“We also call on the public to continue supporting our crime-prevention initiatives, as community cooperation remains vital in preventing crimes and protecting our families. Together, through unity and shared responsibility, we can sustain safer and secure communities,” he added./PN
