ILOILO City – Jesus Belasa was accused of engaging in illegal gambling.
Police in Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo arrested him on Tuesday.
Officers on patrol caught Belasa soliciting bets for the illegal numbers game “bookies” at around 1:40 p.m. in Barangay Lagubang in the town, a police report showed.
Belasa was taken to the Barotac Nuevo police station.
Bet money worth P888 was recovered from him./PN
