ILOILO City – Police nabbed a man for illegal gambling on Javellana Street in Igbaras, Iloilo.
Resident Dowin Escobido was caught collecting bets for the illegal numbers game bookies around 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, a police report showed.
Officers from the Igbaras police station recovered from Escobido bet money worth P360 and gambling paraphernalia.
Escobido was detained in the municipal police station’s custodial facility, facing charges./PN
