
BORACAY Island has reaffirmed its status as a premier global destination after securing multiple top spots in the prestigious 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards across both its U.S. and U.K. editions.
According to official results released by the Municipality of Malay Tourism Office, the world-famous resort island achieved high ranks in both beach and island categories following votes cast by international travelers.
In the Condé Nast Traveler U.S. Edition, Boracay ranked No. 2 among the Top Islands in Asia and landed No. 8 on the list of Top 15 Beaches in the World.
The island also garnered strong acclaim in the U.K. Edition of Condé Nast Traveller, securing No. 4 among The Best Beaches in the World (Asia list) and No. 7 among The Best Islands in the World (Asia list).
Local tourism officials lauded the international recognition, attributing the achievement to the collective efforts of local tourism workers, stakeholders, and residents in preserving the island’s natural environment and maintaining high service standards.
“These recognitions are a celebration of the beauty, experiences, and warm hospitality that make Boracay Island a favorite among travelers from around the world,” the Malay Tourism Office said in a statement.
