BACOLOD City – A 14-year-old boy was hurt in a commotion along Lacson Street, a police report showed.
The boy sustained a stab wound on the right chest and was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in the city for treatment, police said.
The 19-year-old Marc Vincent Galleno reported to officers at Police Station 2 that a group of about 10 minors attacked him, the boy and three others around 1:10 a.m. on Saturday.
But only the boy got hurt after being stabbed with a barbecue stick, Galleno told the police. The minors then fled, he added.
Police were still investigating the incident.
A curfew for minors – from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. the next day – is enforced in the city./PN
