ILOILO City – A couple on a weekend date ended up at the hospital.
The unidentified girlfriend quickly took her boyfriend, 27-year-old Joseph Parreño to the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro district after the later was stabbed with a broken bottle.
The lovers were talking when a man seemingly appeared from nowhere and stabbed Parreño in Barangay San Isidro, La Paz district.
The suspect was 27-year-old Julius Jaena, also of Barangay San Isidro. He fled after the attack.
As of press time, the suspect has not been caught.
