ILOILO City – A total of five sachets of shabu were confiscated from three drug pushing suspects in Barangay Rizal Estanzuela, City Proper.
Around 9 p.m. on Saturday, the following were taken to Police Station 1:
* Arnel Evangelista, 36, of Barangay Bonifacio Tanza
* Aleceto Mallon, 37, of Barangay Rizal Estanzuela
* Eugene Jorque, 39, of Barangay Rizal Estanzuela
An undercover police officer managed to buy from Evangelista a sachet of shabu for P1,000 and right away arrest the suspect and his two other companions.
Four more sachets were recovered from their possession when they were frisked.
The three suspects face a charge for illegal drug possession and peddling which the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 prohibits./PN
